• 1914 Foundation of the company “Werkstatt Apparatebau Emil Wolf”. He led his company through 1937, economic and very serious health problems forced him to sell.
  • 1938 Hermann Holzapfel took over the troubled company in 1938.
  • 1939 conversion of the “Werkstatt Apparatebau Emil Wolf” into “Autogenwerk EWO”
